Once you sign up for a Skywave Account, you can manage that account from your Account Portal. Just click the My Account link and log in with your email and password. Here you can change your address and password, use a different laptop/smartphone/PDA, add time with a credit card or Promotioanl Code, view your account statistics and invoices and access the Internet.
If your billing information has not changed, you can use this tab to enter your credit card number, expiration, and Verification code. Just select a plan and the time will be added to your account. Simple!
This is the same as using a Credit Card but you only need to enter the Code. The Code is a hexidecimal number, this means it only has numbers 0-9 and letters A-F. Please check the code you type for any errors (zero looks like "O" and so on.)
Skywave only allows one device at a time to access the internet from a single account. We are aware that people now have multiple Intetrnet-capable devices (iPhone and a Laptop per se.) or that a friend or family member may need to connect for a while. You can use this tab to change to the new Device. You must log into your Account Portal WITH THE NEW DEVICE and click the "Reset" button under this tab. After that, click on the "Logout" tab and select "Access The Internet" to go online.
It is a good idea to change your password every now and then. You can use this tab for that purpose.
If the billing address of your card changes, you can update it here. We do not store credit card data, but we do store your billing address. That make it easy for you to add time as you just need to puch in the card number and select a plan.
In this tab, you can see a list of your invoices by date and also how much time you have left on the account. You can also see how much time you spent online and you start date.
